Green Mountain Ram Council is new at the school this year. It’s our Ram spirited version of the student council, here student representatives from various clubs discuss and problem solves various issues and items affecting students of Green Mountain High School. Does your club have a representative? Not sure? Talk to Ms. Tiwari the staff head. Something you want to discuss? Talk to any of the students on the council or your club or activities student representative. Currently, your Ram council is discussing what we can do to help students cope with the change in schedule. While it seems simple to freshman this year, many upperclassmen have voiced their disgust for workshop and the lack of advisory hour.

“Ms. Owens is working with the students of various clubs and activities to help with the new schedule,” -Grace Metcalf. Ms.Owens attends every ram council meeting. Her goal is to have a feedback room for possible and existing events; we want it to be as beneficial as it can be so that the school will be a welcoming community.

“Ram council is used to express the voices of Greek mountain groups to our administration. “  – Gabrielle Van Allen; Each week we meet there is the possibility that any of our staff or administrators could be there hearing our ideas. This lets the student’s voices echo through the halls and remind people of what is needed when decisions need to be made.

We want all of you at Green Mountain to know that your voices can matter. No matter the issue, problem, or even event going on your ram council wants it to be the best possible, which is why we want diversity of students, clubs, and activities to have their voices make a statement.
